Who we are
ZAPB B.V. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce / KVK number 82021945) is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us via:
- Email: info@zapb.nl
- Website: zapb.nl
What data we process
We only process personal data that you provide to us yourself, for example through the contact form on this website or by email. Specifically, this involves:
- ✓Contact formName, email address, phone number, subject and the content of your message.
- ✓Email correspondenceName, email address and the content of the correspondence when you email us directly.
We don't collect data through tracking or analytics cookies: this website doesn't place cookies for visitor statistics or advertising. We do keep fully anonymised pageview counts (which page, language and referring website, without an IP address or other identifiable data) to see how the website is used. These statistics can't be traced back to an individual.
Why we process this data
We use your data solely to:
- Get in touch with you following a question, request or message you sent through the form or by email;
- Prepare and carry out a potential collaboration or service;
- Comply with legal obligations, for example tax record-keeping requirements once an agreement is in place.
The legal basis for this processing is your own request (taking pre-contractual steps at your request), the performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in being able to answer questions submitted through the website.
How long we keep data
Contact form data that doesn't lead to a collaboration is kept no longer than needed to answer your question, with a maximum of 12 months. Data that's part of an agreement or invoice is kept for as long as the statutory (tax) retention period requires, currently 7 years.
Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with parties who help us deliver our services, and only to the extent necessary:
- Brevo (email service provider): processes the data from the contact form to deliver your message to us. A data processing agreement is in place with Brevo.
- Hosting provider: the website and contact form run on our own server infrastructure within the EU.
We don't transfer data to parties outside the European Economic Area, unless that party provides appropriate safeguards as required under the GDPR.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use, such as a secure (https) connection for this website and the contact form, and limited access to the data.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access to the data we process about you
- Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to withdraw previously given consent
Want to exercise any of these rights? Send an email to info@zapb.nl. We respond to your request within four weeks.
